Newsletter Best Practices

  • Use a clear, action-oriented subject line (e.g., "Marathon Results Are Live!" or "Early Bird Registration Opens Tomorrow").
  • Include key information in the first paragraph – many recipients preview without reading fully.
  • Add a clear call-to-action (register now, view results, shop medals).
  • Include images of your event or medals for visual appeal.
  • Keep frequency reasonable – weekly or monthly newsletters are typical; avoid overwhelming participants with daily messages.
  • Test your newsletter in multiple email clients before sending.
